I have been going to Dr. Mario for years. His staff is friendly & professional.The wait time is minimal. I have found the Dr.to be a kind, caring man. He takes his time with you & patiently answers all your questions. It is rare to find a Dr. who listens to his patients' needs with such concern.

I recently called the office because I was interested in scheduling an appointment with Dr. Mario. Unfortunately, my experience with the person who answered the phone (I’m not sure if she was the office manager or a receptionist) was very disappointing. The first question I was asked was what insurance I had, and the tone felt rude and unwelcoming. I was then told that I would have to pay $130 as a copay. It wasn’t the amount itself that bothered me, but the way it was communicated — it felt more like an order than an explanation. To clarify, I contacted my insurance company, and they confirmed that my copay is only $50. My insurance even called the office directly and spoke with the office manager, who stated that in their office I would have to pay $130 regardless of what my insurance copay is, and that if I wanted to be seen, I would need to pay that amount without further explanation. I was genuinely excited about becoming a patient of Dr. Mario, but this interaction left me feeling dissatisfied and disappointed. Professionalism and respectful communication matter, especially in healthcare setting
