This was one of the strangest medical visits I’ve ever had. Dr. Young briefly looked at my eye, left the room, and came back to say he couldn’t help me, offering no explanation, and added that I “wouldn’t want him to help with this”. I was then referred out with no clarity about what was going on. I was surprised to later receive a bill for a visit that provided no diagnosis, treatment, or reassurance. When I called to ask for clarification about the charge, the office manager was extremely rude and dismissive. She maintained that the visit was billable and told me I had 30 days to “sit and think about it”. The lack of communication, compassion, and professionalism was unacceptable. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for patient-centered care.
