This review is long overdue but I want to say how wonderful Dr. Marina Goldis is! When my 5 year old daughter was diagnosed with T1D on Christmas Day by her pediatrician our family was shocked, lost and heartbroken. We made an appointment to another Doctor in Maimonides Medical Center but on the way there I found Dr. Marina Goldis and called her office, I mentioned that our daughters glucose was 300+ they immediately said come right NOW!!. Dr. Goldis explained everything, she was thorough, compassionate, knowledgeable and very caring. She took the time , and spent way more time than she needed to, to comfort us and she did just that. When we left her office we felt hopeful and encouraged, it was a relief after all stress and tension. She’s just such sweet person, positive and her energy makes everything better. We go for follow ups on regular basis and every time it’s wonderful to see her and her staff. They are friendly and accommodating and the lady that does phlebotomy is great that my daughter doesn’t mind to get her blood drawn. Thank you Dr. Marina ...you’re amazing and you selected a great support staff. You brought us back when we we were down and felt hopeless.

I am so thankful that we found Dr. Goldis! She is warm, compassionate, understanding, listened to my concerns, treated my child like an individual, and explained things thoroughly. The medical receptionists are friendly, and the office is very clean (it smelled great, too). We didn't have to wait long to be seen, and the entire experience was very smooth. My son has autism (he doesn't normally like going to the doctor) and he said it was one of the best offices he's ever been in. I highly recommend Dr. Goldis.
