*UPDATED* Was contacted by LK to discus my concerns stated below. After learning about my grievance they invited me back to the office. As mentioned before this is a nice, modern office in a great location. The receptionist/dental assistant greeted me warmly and I was quickly placed in the chair under the care of Dr Lee. This is the same doctor who treated me before and we had a straightforward and respectful conversation about my concerns. At no point did he dismiss me or my claims and he was extremely professional in addressing areas I may have misunderstood and clarified several of my post treatment concerns. This was the most comfortable dental appointment I have experienced. In addition to the attentive care, there was no pain, constant reassurance and careful explanation on what was occurring during the procedure. I wish every visit could be like this. Once Dr. Lee was finished he took time to provide post care instruction, made sure I had no concerns and made me aware that I could come back if there were any additional issues. What I respect and value more than the replacement filling (which I am very thankful for) was that there was no pandering or effort to “please” me in order to adjust a review. In fact the only mention of my review was made by me and once by Dr Lee as a frame of reference for my concerns. This office treated me the exact same, as a patient who needed assistance and they made sure I was taken care of fairly and respectfully. This is an honest practice where I do believe patient care is the utmost priority and it was reflected in the handling of my personal situation. Although I was initially cautious about returning, those fears were immediately settled once I spoke with… (I believe her name was Anna) and had a straight forward, productive conversation with Dr Lee. I am adjusting my review because I believe it accurately reflects my experience in totality. Will happily be continuing my treatment with this team. *OLD REVIEW* The office is in a nice location, receptionist was friendly and everything appeared modern and clean. During this visit I had a cleaning and filling. The filling was on the side of my back left molar. I remember two things about this filling. One, it felt jagged to the touch. Two, I immediately felt a pain pushing into my gums that did not feel like any other filling I have ever received. I ignored it and hoped it would go away when he finished aligning it properly or whatever needed to be done. To my surprise, after several attempts of maneuvering it, the dentist said I was done and I still felt this sharp pain in my gums like something had been jammed in there. I informed the dentist of this and was told give it 1-2 weeks and if the pain persist come back. As you can guess the pain did not subside and every time I ate, food would now get stuck in between a space where the new filling resided. This is a problem I had never had before. So, I had to come back. On this second visit the jaggedness of the filling was smoothed and I do recall that the pain remained and I was told that it would just take some getting used to AND the food thing was normal, just be sure to floss. I went from no food ever getting stuck, to food always getting stuck. Fast forward to present day, March 2026, the pain has thankfully subsided but I STILL live with food getting stuck every day in the same spot. Something I resigned myself to live with. But the story does not end there, as it is only about 1 year and 6 months later and surprise, the filling, the painful, food catching one, just breaks off. So I decide I’m going to a new dentist to avoid the pain of the last experience. The new dentist confirms my filling has broken but I am then informed that my insurance will not cover this replacement because it is an area that has already been worked on and I have to wait 2 years before I can get another fill…(sections removed due to Google length restriction)
