What I’ve experienced with Dr. Rhee at Liora over the past few months has been bad enough that I feel a responsibility to warn others. Please do not go here. There were smaller things in the beginning that were pretty off-putting, but that I could deal with, like long waits to get into a room, even longer to see Dr. Rhee, staff that seemed tense with each other, seemingly unnecessary and frequent office visits, and constantly being pushed to buy products. Annoying, but whatever. When I actually needed this office to follow through for me medically, they dropped the ball completely. After a biopsy, I was never told I needed to come back for results. No one called, no one followed up, and no follow-up appointment was scheduled. So for nearly two months, I assumed everything was fine. Then, I get a call two months later asking me to come in ASAP because they were disorganized, missed communicating my results, and failed to tell me I needed further testing. When I raised concerns about this, Dr. Rhee described what was clearly a significant breakdown in communication as a “slip up” with no accountability. I felt extremely dismissed. When my case was referred to a pathologist, I was told my records would be forwarded. After months of waiting, I found out they were never sent at all. I had to chase every. single. update. myself. There was zero proactive communication from the staff at Liora, and I was told multiple times I’d have my results by a certain date only to hear nothing. When I called for a status and asked straightforward questions about my own care, a staff member acted like I was bothering them. I’ve never felt as disregarded and neglected as a patient as I did in this situation. Honestly, it feels like they don’t care. This place is not just disorganized. It is dangerous. I needed them to follow through on something that really mattered, and they didn’t. I really really wish I had gone somewhere else.
