I traveled in from Connecticut and had a great experience at this LensCrafters location in New York. I was running late for my 1:00 PM appointment due to the snowstorm we had over the weekend, and I called ahead to let them know. Even though I arrived a bit late, the team was incredibly accommodating and still made time for me to demo the Meta glasses. That flexibility really meant a lot. The demo itself was excellent. One thing I hadn’t fully understood from videos beforehand was how the Meta wristband works—your fingertips need to touch for it to register gestures. Being able to learn that hands-on made a big difference, and the staff explained everything clearly and patiently. The experience was short but absolutely worth the trip. I also learned there’s currently high demand and limited availability, which makes shipping risky. Because of that, I’ll be making another trip back to NYC to pick them up in person rather than risk them being lost or stolen in transit. Overall, the team was professional, welcoming, and understanding of the circumstances. This was also a late Christmas gift from my brothers, so it made the experience even more special. I’d definitely recommend this location if you’re considering the Meta glasses or want a team that genuinely takes care of their customers.

I had my eye exam done at LensCrafters, and the prescription I received was incorrect. After using glasses made from that prescription, I experienced headaches and dizziness. When I returned to report the issue, I was told there would be no refund, no escalation, and no assistance because I did not purchase the glasses at this location. The only response was issuing a new prescription and dismissing the matter entirely. I was left to resolve the problem on my own with other optical stores and manufacturers. A prescription error caused real physical discomfort, yet there was zero accountability or patient support. Refusing to help simply because the glasses were purchased elsewhere is extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

Nadaesha provided beyond exceptional service. She was very well informed. She gave great recommendations, understood my time.constrainta at work and had everything ready so quickly. I was very impressed. Her service is just as sweet as her smile!
