This doctor lacks common courtesy and is extremely belittling. I have filed an official complaint with the NY board. My experience with him was by far the WORST experience I have ever had with a doctor. I went in for my free yearly checkup and was billed for a medical exam for $112. AVOID THIS DISRESPECTFUL DOCTOR AT ALL COSTS. Even if i hadn't been unjustly billed i would still be leaving a review on his poor behavior. If possible i would give him 0 starts. Going to this doctor was a BIG mistake. i should've listened to my gut feeling and left the office the minute he started speaking to me. I wish i had read the other reviews before i went to the office. Reading these reviews is confirmation that he wasn't just having a bad day or in a bad mood, he is just naturally unpleasant. My appointment was 2 hours ago (4/12/17) and it was such a bad experience that writing this review is a must. Something inside me told to leave after he uttered his first sentence. He never said Hello, Never introduced himself or shook my hand and never addressed me by my name. He spoke to me in a very belittling manner. I was completely caught off guard by his aggression and lack courtesy and geniality. I asked a question about my eye condition and his response was "this is a question that your other doctors should have already answered." i had to ask him the question again at the end of my appt before he answered. He asked me basic questions about my medical history relating to my vision and before i could answer he would say " Do you even know?" Before i could finish asking questions he would cut me off. And when he didn't cut me off he seemed very uninterested and would respond in a belittle manner. He checked my vision, looked at my eye and touched my eye lid to check the pressure. then he turned around in his chair and started writing and told me i could go wait outside. I was perplexed. Not knowing if him telling me to wait outside meant that my was appointment was over or not, I literally asked " is this over?" I then asked if i could finish asking my questions and he said i could. I asked my questions with him never even facing me and when he was done answering my questions he continued to write. After sitting there for a moment i just picked up my bag and walked out of the room. Of course he did not say bye or even look up from his paper. I walked back to the receptionist and was told that i owed $112. Basically i'm being asked to pay $112 for asking questions. The receptionist was rude when i was asking why i had to pay for an annual check up that should be free.
