I had an appointment at 1:00 PM today, but my experience was ruined by the front desk staff. I forgot to bring my ID, which was my mistake. However, instead of politely informing me that I could not be seen without it, the older receptionist spoke to me in a rude and condescending manner and proceeded to lecture me. Patients come to a medical office for care, not to be talked down to. A simple and respectful explanation would have been sufficient. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy made the entire experience extremely unpleasant. Because of the way I was treated, I will not be returning to this clinic. I hope management addresses the front desk staff’s attitude, as no patient should be made to feel disrespected when seeking medical care.
