My appointment with Dr. Philip O. Katz was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. From the start, there was a clear lack of interest in addressing my concerns. During the visit, Dr. Kats remained seated on a couch in a reclined, overly relaxed position with legs stretched out, which felt inappropriate and disrespectful in a clinical setting. It was evident that my medical records had not been reviewed in advance, as information available in Care Everywhere was not referenced. Additionally, Dr. Kats refused to copy or attach important studies from Maimonides Hospital that were not included in the system, which hindered a thorough evaluation. Throughout the appointment, a nurse practitioner was used as a scribe, and neither Dr. Kats nor the NP performed any physical examination. There was no meaningful effort to assess my condition or provide guidance, leaving me feeling dismissed as a patient. I was told that someone from Dr. Zarnegar’s office would contact me to schedule a follow-up appointment, but I never received any communication. Overall, this visit was a complete waste of time and money, and I did not receive the level of care or professionalism I expected. I do not recommend Philip O. Katz.
