This review of doctor Amy Kuruvilla, MD's scheduling practices. I have scheduled the appointment 2 months out because they had nothing available sooner. I started dealing with really bad pain in my thumb and this appointment was something I was really looking forward to! 5 days before the appointment someone from the office calls and says that the doctor will not be able to see me because she has an emergency. The next available appointment is in another 3 weeks. I am begging the person to find someone in the office to see me before that due to pain issues and she is just nope, noone is available. The next appointment is in 3 weeks. So I rescheduled. And then found a doctor office, One Medical, who is not part of NYU (wanted to stick with NYU because of my history with them) who is going to see me in a couple of days. If you have an emergency and cannot see patients, then you should do EVERYTHING in your power to rearrange your schedule and see them asap, NOT 3 weeks out! That's what I do as a business owner! Does this doctor have any ethics?! Absolutely no! I know I have not seen her and cannot attest to her bedside manners and her expertise but people should know about this experience and know that this doctor does not care about the wellbeing of other people!
