I had an accident at work in September of 2023 and I started seeing Dr. Gallina in early 2024. We finally did anterior/posterior spinal fusion surgery. I had lower back pain on my right side along with numbness running down my right leg. After the surgery til now 7 months later my pain on my right side has gotten worse along with the numbness. I also have pain on my left side along with numbness which I didn't have before the surgery. The next day after surgery I notified the nurse that I was feeling pain and numbness on my left side I was told a doctor would be in to see me. The doctor never came I was discharged and sent home. A few days later I was still feeling those same symptoms so I called his office spoke to his staff and was told the Dr. Gallina would be notified and someone would get back to me. Noone got back to me. When I saw him for the post operative appointment I had explained all of this to him and his reaction was as if he wasn't hearing what I had said and I was right because when I read his note on that visit my concerns and my symptoms were not put into his notes. When I called the office the see if he could ammend or do an addendum to his note I wad told that that was not so easy to do and that those complaints could be added at the next visit. Dr. Gallina is rude, dismissive and had no empathy for his patients. His bed side manner is disgusting. I wish I would have never had this surgery with him. I am feeling alot worse after the surgery and this is not what I thought was going to be the outcome. So if you're looking for a doctor who sees his patients as people, who listens to your concerns and is a decent human being then this is not the doctor for you.
