James J. Peters VA Medical Center has amazing staff.Customer Service and ER wait times have gotten better.The ER needs to finish the renovation.It’s been almost 2 years.The current facility parking lots all need an immediate upgrade.

Had my own medical insurance & never visited the VA hospital until today, 43yrs after discharge from The NAVY. Went to the ER, got checked in, all vitals taken, urine sample & blood work taken, Cat Scan performed & results of everything done & discharged in four & a half hours. Any private or public hospital would have taken double or even triple the amount of time. The staff was very polite & informative. It felt good being surrounded by so many fellow veterans also. Wish I had started to go here years ago. Highly recommend!!!!
