Last year at 71 years old Dr. Jack Dodick performed cataract surgery on both eyes and corrected my stigmatism which corrected my vision DRAMATICALLY. My left eye is now slightly better for reading and my right eye for crystal clear looking at distances. I had worn glasses since I was 5 years old being very near sighted. The only glasses I use now are sometimes drug store 2.50 reading glasses for fine print but I can read a menu without them. A new life! My total experience with Dr. Jack Dodick can be summed up as FANTASTIC, very professional, efficient, quick and with results beyond my wildest expectations.From the moment I walked into Jack's office there was this aura of efficiency and professionalism. Not a lot of sitting around, there is little delay before you are given an eye exams including all necessary measuring of the eyeballs etc..., Jack then gives you your options and off you go. At my convenience I made the date for surgery, one eye first and then a week later the other. I am an Architect and after both operations I WAS AT WORK THAT AFTERNOON. No discomfort , no glasses and great eye sight. It was almost too easy. You do not spend much time in the hospital. I entered around 7:00 AM and left around 10:30 to 11:00 AM. I could see well immediately once the eye drops wore off. As I said I was back at work that afternoon. My biggest thrill of the many thrills post operation is the improvement to my tennis game. I did not realize how awful my vision really was before even with glasses. Now I can see the spin of the ball clearly. My opponents are probably the only people who are not fans of Jack Dodick! On top of it all I was very impressed with the charitable work Dr. Dodick does flying all over the world performing miracles providing eye care to people who otherwise would not be able to have these gifts of good eyesight. My opinion is you would be wise to follow the advise of Dr. Dodick and if he feels you need surgery etc.. go for it as it is well worth it.
