Waited over 4 weeks for an appointment after being recommended to him by a respected doctor at Northwell Hospital, only to get a call from his office a few days prior to my appointment saying the doctor had to cancel my appointment with no reason given. To make matters worse, I was told his next available appointment was another 4 weeks out! After reading some of his reviews from other patients, this may have been a blessing in disguise!

Saw Dr. Berkowitz at his Rockaway office, the receptionist was warm and helpful. The lady who does the EKG and blood pressure moved very fast. However Dr Berkowitz was patient listened with interest. And answered all my concerns. I appreciated his sensitivity towards my concerns and how he easily explained what my medical plan is! Definitely following up with him.
