I am writing to share my sincere gratitude and to provide a comprehensive review of the exceptional care I received from Dr. Park, a podiatric surgeon who truly transformed my experience and outcome after multiple painful and unsuccessful surgeries. Prior to meeting Dr. Park, I had undergone three separate foot surgeries performed by different surgeons. Unfortunately, none of these procedures alleviated my pain—in fact, my condition worsened. After the first surgery, I was confined to a cast boot for six months due to nonunion. My initial surgeon later informed me that I needed additional surgery, during which a plate with four screws was placed over an old screw to stabilize the bone. This hardware remained in my foot for a year and a half, during which I endured constant pain. Simple actions, such as my young daughter caressing my foot, caused sharp discomfort. Seeking relief, I consulted a second surgeon who attempted to correct my hammertoe and neuroma and remove the hardware. Although the surgeon successfully removed the plate and four screws, one screw from the initial surgery remained because its head was broken inside the bone. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, the pain persisted and my hammertoe condition did not improve. Years passed with ongoing pain and limited function, until I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Park. From our first consultation, his approach was different—he initially tried conservative treatments such as laser therapy, specialized shoe supports, and topical creams, all tailored to my specific condition. When it became clear that surgery was necessary for my hammertoe and bunion, Dr. Park proposed an innovative surgical technique that minimized scarring and significantly reduced postoperative pain. I was genuinely impressed by the outcome. From the first week of recovery, I noticed a remarkable improvement in both comfort and mobility.
