I’ve been with IDCC for nearly 2 years and have had a mostly positive experience - shoutout to therapists Brianda Gosselin-Hickey and Shirley Segarra! I do virtual therapy with IDCC so I can’t speak to their in-person services and facility. Many pros: seamless virtual and consistent sessions, easy scheduling/rescheduling and coverage when a therapist is out of office, helpful text reminders for upcoming sessions, multi-lingual therapists, and kind, supportive mental health professionals here. The billing can be slow, but there hasn’t been any major issues or overcharges like I’ve experienced with other clinics. I’m knocking 1 star for the admin chaos though - every few months case mangers reach out for documentation updates, often overlapping in their outreach, which causes a lot of confusion and frustration. I understand IDCC needs to stay up-to-date on certain client docs, but the outreach is just so disorganized and frequent. Even once I’ve completed the required docs with one case manager, another will reach out and often outside of my communicated availability. As personable as the case managers are, there seems to be internal disorganization and miscommunication that needs to be addressed. Overall, I recommend IDCC for mental health support.
