I visited this location for diagnostic imaging and, given that it is in Manhattan, I expected a higher standard of professionalism and patient care. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of those expectations.
My appointment was scheduled for 9:30 AM, and I arrived on time. Upon arrival, I was not greeted or acknowledged by staff. I had to wait for someone to acknowledge I was there and did not receive a simple good morning. After waiting approximately 20 minutes, a staff member called my name and, without any introduction, simply instructed me to walk down the hallway to a designated area. When I arrived, there was no one present to assist me, leaving me standing there unsure of what to do next.
Eventually, another staff member approached and asked for my name. After I responded, I was directed to a room without any introduction, explanation of the procedure, or opportunity to ask questions. A basic level of communication—such as introducing themselves and explaining the process—would have significantly improved the experience.
During the exam, instructions were minimal and unclear. At one point, I was told to hold my breath without any prior explanation of what the procedure involved. Additional equipment was placed on my body without explanation, which made the experience feel impersonal and confusing.
At the conclusion of the exam, the staff removed the wires but left adhesive pads attached to my body and instructed me to remove them myself. I was not provided with any materials, such as towels or alcohol pads, to clean off the adhesive. I ultimately had to leave the facility and travel home with adhesive still on my skin. Due to this experience I have no trust in the results of this exam.
Overall, the lack of communication, professionalism, and basic patient care was disappointing. I would not recommend this location based on my experience.
