My husband was bought to this facility after 9 days of hospitalization. My husband is in his 30’s and has ALS. Although he cannot do much on his own anymore, he is still oriented and knows what is happening to him and around him. With that being said, my husband was mistreated AND neglected by staff at this facility. After being in the facility for only 12 hours, I had to pull him out. He was transfered from the hospital at 7pm on a Friday night. He arrived and told staff he needed to use the bathroom. When I arrived at the facility 15 minutes after him and I got to his room, he had urinated on himself. After telling multiple staff that the CNA was needed, she made an appearance 1 and a half hours later. She did not assist me in taking my husband to the bathroom nor did she assist on placing him on a camol for him to use the bathroom or to bathe him. Her only solution was to change the bedsheets and put a diaper on him to which my husband told her that he did not need because he’s not incontinent. When I asked a NURSE (tan with strawberry blonde hair) for towels, she went into another patients room and grabbed towels from their bathroom rather than grabbing clean linen from a closet. They had shift change around 11pm, I told the new CNA that came in that my husband needs assistance to use a bedside urinal at night and to be adjusted in bed at night and that he cannot use his hands to use a “nurse call button”. They proceeded to ignore my husband the whole night, he urinated himself multiple time and called me via Siri the whole night to tell me what was happening for me to then call the facility to have the nurse/CNA go into the room to assist him. He was also mistreated in the middle of that night by a Russian nurse who forced him into a uncomfortable position in where he could not breath properly to then bring more staff in to force him onto the bed after he tried to break free from her. The last thing that happened was that a man walked into the room to draw blood in the middle of the night, ignored my husband when he had told the man that he had urinated himself and to let the CNA know. This man proceeded to close my husbands door after drawing the blood and my husband laid in his own urine for hours until the morning staff came in at 7am. God bless the VERY FEW staff members that actually assisted me and tried to comfort my husband and I before we left. Gaby and Zoey do a good job at selling this facility but it is a PRISON! Please keep your loved ones away! P.s. I forgot to mention that his room was dirty (toilet had paper throw in with urine and bed rails had food on them) and still had the previous patents name tag on the door and personal belongings in the drawers.
