I had a great experience with Dr. Yasser and his team. He is very knowledgeable, and I felt well cared for. Huge thank you to Yasmin for handling a booking mix-up so quickly and getting me seen! Highly recommend.

Called ImovePhysio on UES and requested to be put with a therapist who is willing to wear a high-quality mask. They have one doctor that always works with a mask but its a surgical (not highly effective when it comes to aerosol transmission). I ask (thinking it won't be a big deal since they already mask) if the provider would agree to wearing a KN95 or N95 respirator and I would even provide whichever they would prefer. The Dr said NO they wouldn't comply with that even though they do mask. Huh?? They went on to mentioned the space is open and I would be around other patients and doctors. I replied that I understood that, but I wanted the person who would be closely hovering over me for 45 minutes to provide better protection. (I explained I have a chronic illness and care for a parent with cancer, not that I should have to as anyone deserves to request and receive such measures to protect themselves especially in a healthcare setting). But it was a hard no to upgrade from surgical to respirator. I said its a shame a Dr who has some basic understanding of the importance of masking -- since we are still in a pandemic and raging flu season - wouldn't take this small step for patient safety nor would anyone else in the practice.
