Never in my life have I experienced a doctor who exhibits such a perfect combination of professionalism and compassion. I not only trust Dr. Bloomgarden to know all of the latest research and up-to-date medical info, but I am repeatedly comforted by her personal approach. I never feel like "just a number," like I might at other NYC doctor's offices; Dr. Bloomgarden remembers details we've discussed, takes the time to hear my concerns, is thorough in her assessments, and always comes up with a solid plan to address my medical needs. Is there sometimes a wait for an appointment? Sure. But I'd rather bring a book and wait for an incredible doctor than get shuffled in and out of a physician's office where the level of care is sub-par. I've been seeing Dr. Bloomgarden for over 15 years, and couldn't imagine seeing anyone else. She. Is. The. Best.

I was made to wait for 3 months for an appointment as a new patient. When I was scheduling my first visit in the beginning of June only the end of July had openings so I was scheduled for July the 26th. On the date of the visit on my way to the office I found out that I supposedly was scheduled on a different day that already passed. No email confirmation received and no possibility to schedule a new appointment sooner than another 1.5 later (in the middle of September). I've never got to see Dr. Bloomgarden, quite terrible experience.
