I've had my cataracts removed from both eyes during separate surgeries from Dr. Michael Ehrenhaus, MD. Dr Ehrenhaus was very patient, answered all of my questions in very reassuring. His staff is very polite and professional. I now have 2020 vision without glasses and only need readers when looking at my cell phone and working on my computers.. I highly recommend this company for your eye care.

This doctor initially presents as kind but quickly becomes distant and somewhat rude, particularly in his treatment of elderly people. As a professional caregiver, I’ve witnessed firsthand how my patient received insurance authorization approval for a necessary procedure, then the doctor refused to carry it out. This behavior is clearly unethical, because he let my patient know that the insurance approval is not a certain way to assure his payment. Why would the doctor let the insurance authorization approved expire before the procedure? This situation must be addressed, and I believe it warrants investigation by a New York State or City health authority to hold the doctor accountable for his unethical actions.
