I went to Dr Hochman for check-ups twice yearly for many years, because I had had bad sunburns as a child and was worried about skin cancer. For over two years, I had a brown spot on my cheek that got bigger over time. Dr. Hochman told me it was nothing and not a problem, even when a black spot developed in the middle of it. Luckily, I told him I didn’t really like how it looked and wanted it removed, which he did. The biopsy came back positive and showed that I had a melanoma. While he always appeared to be examining me carefully, he did not understand that what was clearly visible on my cheek was a very dangerous cancer.

Dr. Hochman was my dermatologist for the past 25+ years. They canceled my appointment because I wasn't vaccinated (for other medical reasons). I just had a negative PCR test and offered to take another. It didn't matter to them -- and that's not okay with me. It's the kind of behavior that is turning the vaccinate into a witch hunt, regardless of a patient's circumstances. I won't be going back.
