I can’t thank Dr. Raed Bargout enough.
My mother’s case was extremely complicated. She saw more than 12 cardiologists across Sweden, Michigan, and California, yet no one truly explained or understood her condition the way Dr. Bargout did.
He is incredibly smart, passionate, professional, and genuinely kind.
We are deeply grateful for his care and expertise. Highly recommended.

I had an awful experience with this doctor's office. I genuinely don't know how some people are hired and keep their job when they behave so unprofessionally, disrespectfully, and carelessly.
I called to make an appointment with one of their cardiologists on 3/3/26. The soonest available appointment they had was 5/21/26; more than 2 months away, which is a long time to wait when you might be having heart issues. I booked the appointment, and the Saturday before my appointment, I received a text confirming my appointment with the date, time, and address of the appointment.
Two days before my appointment, a woman called me from this doctor's office to tell me that they don't take my insurance. Two days before my appointment! What?! I told her that when I booked my appointment, my insurance was verified as in-network, and that I even received a referral letter for their office from my insurance. This women kept saying, "Unfortunately" over and over and over again as if it actually did anything to alleviate the problem. She then continued to interrupt me every time I had a question, or responded to her, so I couldn't actually make any progress in the call. Eventually, I was able to get her to explain to me what happened. I had Prospect Medical Group back when I booked the appointment, but they no longer exist, and they've been replaced with Community Family Care Health Plan.
After being berated with "Unfortunately" and interrupted repeatedly for several minutes with this woman, she asked me what I wanted to do... as if that meant something. I asked her why they didn't inform me of this issue sooner, and why I'm finding out two days before my appointment. She said they just noticed it. She also mentioned that they knew that their office would no longer accept Prospect Medical Group after March 31st, 2026. Well, I made my appointment on March 3rd, so their office would have already known about this conflict for a May appointment, yet they booked me anyway. I told her I wanted them to figure it out and keep my appointment. She declined. Unprofessionalism aside, how can a doctor's office be so carelessly negligent? This isn't an annual check-up, or some minor problem. This is a cardiologist! They have no idea why I need to see them, but they know that I do, and heart problems don't tend to be minor issues, but if found early enough, can be treatable.
This is absolutely asinine to me, and to top it all off, she continues to talk over me, so there's just chaos on the phone with no resolution in sight. Suffice it to say, I don't have an appointment anymore that is covered by my insurance, and have to wait 2-3 more months just to see a cardiologist who is covered. How about Heartbeat takes responsibility for their egregious error and just see me on their dime? When did the world stop being held accountable for their actions? Unbelievable.
P. S. The office sent me a text about my appointment tomorrow as if this phonecall never happened. 🤦🏻♂️
