Harlem Dental Plaza is a complete mess and extremely unprofessional. I arrived at 1:00 PM and did not get seen until 2:55 PM. It felt like I was the last patient of the day by the time I was finally called, the office was empty and I was the only one there. I was sent to the back with no greeting and no politeness just “what’s your name” and “hang your stuff up.” I then sat in the chair in the back for about 30 minutes waiting to be seen, with no explanation, no updates, and no communication at all. The entire situation was uncomfortable, awkward, and highly unprofessional. The machinery looked old and outdated, and the periodontist, Dr. Niderman, was coughing all over the place, touching the instruments without any gloves, putting his hands into patients’s mouths as if nothing was wrong. I walked out without saying a word, simply put on my jacket and left. Even the bathroom conditions looked horrible, which says a lot about how this place is run. This office clearly does not care about its clients at all. The only competent and professional person there was Tiffany, the dental tech. She was polite, respectful, and actually cared. She deserves to be working somewhere far better. Other than her, this office is poorly run and I would never recommend it to anyone.
