BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE NOT Even sure where to begin. Ninth Street Internal Medicine has moved here but they were getting horrible and it has gotten worse. I tried to get a refill on Medication I have been taking for over 10 years. It's too long to explain what a nightmare it was but I will say how Dr A. Dubb treated me. I started calling yesterday and was told all different excuses like Medicare takes 72 hours which is false. Amazing how I can get very strong meds called in the same day with Temple. Anyway, Dubbs actually called me and was just horrible. I worked in the Medical Field for 20 years with Surgeons, ER Drs, private practice etc and I have NEVER heard a Dr talk to a patient like this. He was so rude and raised his voice. He first said he wants to cut dosage that I have been on for 10 years in half. I tried to have him look at my records that I usually, not all the time, cut in half and it's cheaper for me but just spoke over me. He threatened to take me off the Meds altogether because HIS TIME IS TOO IMPORTANT TO LISTEN TO ME. HIS WORDS. HE SAID I SHOULD COME IN IF I WANTED HIM TO LISTEN BUT HAD TO REMIND HIM THAT......HE.....CANCELED MY LAST APPT AND HAD ME SEE A NURSE PRACTITIONER. HE SAID ...WAIT FOR IT....WHATEVER, HE WILL STOP MEDS ALTOGETHER. I HAVE A PAIN DISEASE AND MY JOINTS ARE CRIPPLED DUE TO CANCER MEDS AND I CANT SLEEP AT NIGHT. I TAKE SLEEP MEDS. IF I GET TIRED I HAVE ANXIETY/PANIC ATTACKS. HE DOESNT KNOW THIS FOR......HIS TIME IS TOO IMPORTANT. I CANT BELIEVE HE IN A THREATENING TONE DID THREATEN ME. DOES HE THINK I ENJOY THIS????? WHAT HAPPENED TO DRS CARE ABOUT PATIENTS???? I SHOULD OF TAPED THE CALL. I am not exaggerating at all. Obviously I know what I have to do.
