I had to go to the 35th Street location twice for two different tests. The front desk staff was lovely and helpful. For both appointments, they called me the day before to see if I wanted a car service to take me to and from the location (free of charge). The technicians were great, accommodating, knowledgable and reassuring. They made both visits as good as they could be given cardiac testing is never fun. My most recent visit, I was very anxious for a different procedure which involved me being in a CT machine for an extended period of time. The nurse asked me if I was ok because she sensed my apprehension. I nodded no, and she brought me over to the area where the machine is, and she and the others explained how it will work, and what to expect. I don't think I've ever had anyone in a medical facility do that before. They were comforting and very kind. When I had a problem while in the machine, they immediately came in and addressed it. They did everything to make a not so fun test as easy as possible. The doctor even came out and brought me coffee so it would help reverse the effects of the nuclear medicine when I was waiting for the car. Did I mention the car service?
