I don’t leave reviews often but I feel like it’s public service to warn people about this place. Reception is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Outright mean. From setting an appointment to trying to get a prescription filled - combative, unhelpful, and very stressful when you’re not feeling well. I called to get a refill on a very normal prescription for women, not a substance you could by any stretch of the imagination abuse, and the receptionist argued with me and said I couldn’t just call and ask for drugs. I was so confused. I asked to speak to my doctor (Bhandari) and she wouldn’t let me, saying something about me not knowing how things worked and almost mocking me for requesting a refill. I ended up getting so frustrated and upset I started to cry and told her she was treating me like I was asking for addictive drugs not common women’s medication and asked why she was being so aggressive with me, and she softened and finally let me speak to doctor, then I got my refill. (Any other dr I’ve ever been to I’ve never faced anything like this and always call for refill a prescription when need be.) The last time I went I set an appointment online, left work midday and traveled to the office, only for the receptionist to give me a lecture about how I should never book online because that doesn't actually work. Everyone knows you don’t book online she told me. I wasn’t in her books, had no appointment, she told me next time I should know to call her directly. She treated me like I’d done something wrong. Totally dysfunctional online booking!! Since I was there and needed care, I asked if I could still be seen. My doctor wasn’t in office (the online booking signified that she would be), but she said I could see another doctor- but wait, she said, I had an outstanding bill. I couldn’t be seen unless I paid. I offered to pay right then, pulled out my credit card, but it was like she didn’t hear me, and she kept explaining I had to pay if wanted to be seen, getting angry, treating me like I was trying to dodge payment. It was confusing. But speaking of confusing- when she gave me the bill I saw a couple of $75 charges and asked what they were- it turns out I was charged every time I had called. Follow up questions, prescription refills. I had never been told there was a charge for this. She explained they’d started being able to charge for calls as visits during the beginning of the pandemic and never stopped. I don’t know if this is common practice but it seems wrong to me, especially without informing the patient! I had to call after my physical because the doctor never went over the result with me, I just randomly received a notice of a vitamin called into my pharmacy and I had concerns about it. Top to bottom just a messy, frustrating experience at this practice. I’ll add that Bhandari was nice the times I met with her, but getting information on results or medicine after almost impossible. I will add that my partner had a very bad experience with the male doctor here and we have both left this disastrous practice!! Avoid!!!
