Today was my first time visiting with Dr Nancy Chen. I went to the Brooklyn office. It was the office that had the first available appointment. Tow a very nice office. The staff were all friendly and helpful. It was a very smooth registration for my first visit with this practice. The paperwork was minimal and the wait was not long. Dr Chen called me in relatively quickly. She went overt ct scan and was not satisfied with the images so, we discussed getting an MRI for a better view. She discussed the issues and how to proceed. I was clear on everything before leaving her wx room. She is very knowledgeable and explained how we should proceed. She had her staff give me. Script to an MRI facility. I will see her at a closer facility on the next appointment with the results of the MRI test. I am very satisfied with my visit with Dr Chen and look forward to our next visit. I highly recommend!! In a world where we have choices, choose docs that SEE you. I tend to choose female doctors because in the past have felt dismissed or unheard by male doctors. Ofcourse not all, but enough to realize, I’d rather have a female practitioner who gets it. A+++ for Dr. Chen my new GI doc. 💝 Update: 2/10/26 follow up to MRI - with NP - Alina. She was very pleasant to meet with. She was thorough in her explanation of MEI results which was “nothing serious to be concerned with”. It was good enough for me! Best wishes to the very pregnant Alina - due in April. 💝. This was my first visit at their Staten Island office - really cool space. Loved the pic of old Staten Island ferry.- time when cars were allowed on. Anyway awesome medical visit. It’s how all medical professionals should treat their patients. Inform, educate and support. Keep up with your health people - early detection and prevention is your best defense against any illness 💝
