ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF AND BEWARE. Took one look at my thyroid and said it needed to come out because it looks covered in tumors - he didn’t even want to biopsy, just wanted to schedule me for surgery (that would make me need to take medicine for the rest of my life). I got multiple other opinions and it turned out that I didn’t have masses - I have hashimotos disease and a fully functional thyroid. The specialists at Columbia told me that the surgery to remove my thyroid would be more risky than keeping it and to be weary of anyone who wants to remove it. When Dr Tsioulias told me I needed surgery, it didn’t feel right and I’m so glad I sought other opinions. I could only imagine where I’d be if I didn’t advocate for myself and had stayed with him. You won’t see me in his office.

WARNING.....!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS Dr....!!!!! I was recently diagnosed with throat cancer and this Dr was the one surgeon that installed my feeder tube. I truly look like Frankenstein with all the incisions he made with one being on the right side of my stomach. That incision got seriously infected and I ended up back in the hospital on a Sunday. We called and called his Emergency Phone line and left messages as to what was going on and we got NO RESPONSE.!! NO CALL BACK, NOTHING...!!! On Monday we were finally able to get his office and they scheduled me to come in immediately only because now it was convenient for them because it was Monday and NOT the weekend..... When he came into my room, I gave him a piece of my mind and this Dr NEVER ONCE Apologized or showed and expressed ANY ounce of sympathy or empathy for what I have endured due to his hack job....!!! HE WAS JUST COLD AS ICE and treated me like I was just a $$$$ to him..................................
