Gastroenterology & Liver Associates of Riverdale

I've had two procedures performed with doctors from this practice as well as regular consultations. The doctors and staff were patient, kind and attentive, taking the time to explain procedures, answer questions and calm my nerves. They were also on-time with their appointments, which is always helpful, and the additional staff I interacted with at their location for procedures were equally helpful. They were also great about checking-in with me both before and after, making sure I understood preparations, addressing questions and ensuring I had no complications. I'd recommend this practice without hesitation.

Just left doctor’s office. When I first called to get an appointment, they didn’t tell me i can’t see the doctor because the doctor I previously saw was under the same “montefiore” clinic. So, they just didn’t take me. They could have asked me if I had a previous doctor. It seems to be an ethical problem and financial problem. Why? Because they won’t have to ask for another endoscopy. I tried to understand the rational of it, but they wouldn’t tell me. The secretary or receptionist was extremely rude to me. Besides that, the clinic was in a very interesting location. It looked dirty and crowded. I wouldn’t recommend. I was just desperate to see a doctor. Think twice as you look for a GI.
