Two weeks ago, my 15 month old grandson gashed his forehead. My daughter went to Dr. Kimmel. He stitched him up in about 3 minutes flat. He told her that he put in 4 internal stitches and 3 external stitches. A week later, my grandson mildly tapped his head into a soft couch and the whole site opened up. I took him to a another surgeon who spent AN HOUR meticulously suturing him, and after he finished, he told me that the reason that it opened up was because it was a very deep and wide internal cut and NO INTERNAL STITCHES had been put in. No words to describe my shock at the blatant lie and negligence from Dr. Kimmel. My grandson, and of course all of us, had to endure extra unnecessary trauma, and had it not been resutured, he would have sustained an ugly scar on his forehead. One star because I can’t give zero or negative. Egregious. Shame on you Dr. Kimmel.
