I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Gardner Wade and the entire staff at Cosmetic and Family Dentistry. After waking up at 2 AM in unbearable pain from an abscessed tooth, I called a 24-hour emergency dental number I found on Google. Dr. Wade personally returned my call first thing that morning and was incredibly polite, professional, and reassuring. He told me he could do either an extraction or a root canal the same day, and after taking X-rays and examining everything, he gave me his honest recommendation — which is what I went with. Less than 24 hours after that call, I was sitting in his office getting the procedure done. I drove over an hour from Youngsville to Baton Rouge on a Saturday because no other offices were open on a holiday extended weekend, much less available to perform the procedure. It was absolutely worth the drive. The office staff were all extremely kind, professional, and accommodating. The office was very busy, but everyone worked together seamlessly to take care of patients. What impressed me most was Dr. Wade himself — he truly does it all. He helped with insurance questions, made sure patients were comfortable while waiting, and even assisted during procedures when his assistants were helping other patients. There are levels to every profession, and Dr. Gardner Wade is a master at what he does. The quality of care, professionalism, compassion, and efficiency were outstanding from start to finish. Excellent job by Dr. Wade and his entire staff. 5 stars all the way. I will absolutely be back, even with the drive.
