If you’re reading the negative reviews about this place—believe them. Every single one. I wish I had. My mom is currently a patient here, and what should have been a simple, positive visit turned into one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had with any facility. I took time off work specifically to spend the day with her and finally get her outside for a walk, something she’s been looking forward to instead of being stuck inside all day. I was denied. Why? Because she didn’t have an “out on pass” signed by a doctor. Now, I understand policies exist for a reason, and I was respectful of that. But here’s the problem: my father was able to take her out for a walk just two weeks ago using a pass that a nurse wrote up for him. Same patient, same situation—completely different outcome. So which is it? Is this policy real, or does it just depend on who you talk to that day? I even escalated this to the supervisor on duty, explained the situation, and showed proof of the previous pass. Still denied. No flexibility. No effort to help. Just a flat “wait until Monday when the doctor is here.” Let that sink in—I was told my mom couldn’t step outside for a short walk on a nice day because of paperwork inconsistency, despite clear evidence that exceptions had already been made. I spent over an hour going back and forth for something so basic and humane, only to be shut down. It’s not just about the policy—it’s the lack of consistency, compassion, and common sense. Patients here aren’t just charts and rules; they’re people who deserve dignity and small moments of normalcy. Do better.
