It’s difficult to adequately express how happy I am with the care I received from Dr. Lovecchio and his team. Every concern I had was addressed and all my questions were answered clearly and patiently. Adalynn, his office manager, was and is great! She was always there for me whenever I called and wouldn’t miss a beat with follow up - as did Michelle, her assistant. Dr. Lovecchio’s PA Luca was exceptional. In hospital, post surgery, I was always met with a smiling face and encouraging words - particularly needed after a T-10 through S-1 spinal fusion. And it is so good to have all my messages to Dr. Lovecchio, always - I mean always - answered within a few hours, to this day - seven months after surgery. Look no further than Dr. Francis Lovecchio.

My daughter and I both have scoliosis and we both had spinal fusions when we were teenagers. Fast forward decades. My daughter, who lives in NYC, began experiencing more pain and began to fall because her legs suddenly gave way. In her late thirties, she finally found Dr. Lovecchio and had a new spinal fusion performed. Her whole experience and recovery were amazing!!! She looks and feels great now! So, after some 30 years of struggling with increasing pain in my own back, I decided to see if he’d be willing to help me, too, at age 74. He said yes! So, even though I live in northern New England, I travelled to HSS for surgery a year ago. Dr. Lovecchio accurately described what the surgery could and couldn’t do. I decided to go for it and he basically fused my whole spine, from sacrum to neck. Two rods and 27 screws. (My son in law calls me a cyborg.) The surgery was long as has been the recovery. But, now I look and feel SO much better! It was not just worth it, it was life changing! Thank you to Dr. Lovecchio, Adalynn, Luca and all of HSS!
