Fordham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

While visiting a co-worker who had hip surgery at Fordham nursing and rehab I was pleasantly surprised at the care that she was given. The place was clean and the staff was friendly but the amount and intense physical therapy that she was given was really instrumental in getting her not just out of bed but be able to go home as quickly as she did.

I had the privilege of spending several years at Fordham Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, and I want to express my gratitude for the care and support I received during my time there. The staff consistently treated me with dignity, patience, and kindness, creating a safe environment where I could focus on my health and well-being. What stood out most was their dedication—not only to meeting daily needs, but also to listening and respecting my goals for independence. They supported me through the process of planning my transition to assisted living, and I always felt that my voice mattered. Life in a nursing home can be challenging, but the team here worked hard to make it feel like a community. From the nurses and aides to the social workers and activity coordinators, everyone contributed to making my years here meaningful. Now that I’ve moved into an assisted living community of my choice, I carry with me deep appreciation for the foundation this nursing home gave me. It was a place of care, stability, and compassion, and I would recommend it to anyone seeking a supportive environment during a difficult chapter of life. Thank you and God bless you all. Samir
