I’m extremely disappointed with the communication and care at this office. My father had a 2:45 PM appointment and arrived early at 2:30. I called ahead to let staff know I needed to arrange a taxi for him afterward, as he has mobility challenges. The first person I spoke to was not helpful—no information was taken (not his name, date of birth, or my contact info), and I was simply told I’d get a call back. About an hour later, I called again for an update. This time, the staff member was more attentive and took my phone number, assuring me they would call when he was done. I never received that call. After two hours, I began calling repeatedly—over eight times—and no one answered, even though it was still before closing. I had no way to reach my father and no update on his status. Because of this lack of communication, my father—an older adult with mobility issues—was left to find his own way home on a very hot day using public transportation. This situation could have been avoided with basic communication and follow-through. I strongly encourage this office to improve how they handle patient coordination and family contact, especially for vulnerable patients.
