I gave birth at Flushing Hospital and had a wonderful experience. The facilities are modern, the environment is comfortable, and all the nurses and doctors were kind, professional, and extremely caring. As first-time parents, we appreciated how patiently they taught us how to care for our newborn. They took excellent care of both me and my baby and made us feel supported every step of the way. From the moment I walked in, I was taken care of right away. The admissions staff were welcoming and efficient, which immediately made me feel at ease. Nurse Margie is incredibly sweet and took the time to explain everything clearly. She gave so much helpful information and made sure I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. Dr. Chen, my surgeon, has been amazing from the very beginning of my journey. He is caring, patient, and truly listens. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients, and that made a huge difference for me. During discharge, Nurse Ferdinand was so kind and attentive. What really stood out was that he even made a follow-up call the next day just to check if everything was going well with my surgery, that meant a lot. When I walked into the operating room, everyone was already prepared and extremely professional. The doctors and nurses assisting Dr. Chen were calm, focused, and reassuring. Before I fell asleep, I was counting how many people were there to help me, there were 7 of them! It made me feel very safe and well cared for. Overall, my experience was excellent. I felt supported, respected, and truly cared for. My recovery journey has not been stressful, and the wound has not been too painful, which I truly appreciate.
