My husband was a patient of Dr.Shafizadeh about 10 years ago. He gave my husband for enlarged prostate the medication called Tamsulosin for enlarged prostate. The medication was causing decreased sexual drive, low blood pressure and dizziness. He had no better medication to give my husband and we had to try another urologist for my husband's problem. About 4 months ago my husband decided to go to him for a treatment of a mass in the prostate to see if it was cancerous and we found out that Dr.Farshad Shafizadeh was working together with Dr.Fernando Bianco who's a doctor in Hialeah Florida. Dr.Shafizadeh had learned with Dr.Bianco how to use the new invention of Focalyx to burn masses of cancer in the prostate. Dr. Shafizadeh and his secretary were very irresponsible with my husband's care by cancelling appointments for my husband a few times knowing that he needed a prostate biopsy urgently to find out if my husband's mass was cancerous. They didn't care much about my husband's health. I had to continue insisting for an appointment. Then one day I decided to check the ratings for Dr.Shafizadeh and for Dr.Bianco. Dr.Shafizadeh's reviews or ratings have been going down lately and Dr.Bianco's ratings are even worse. Some of the reviews were 1 star. I found out that most of the prostate surgeries done by Dr.Bianco were botched and some patients passed away after having surgery done by him. Dr.Shafizadeh works as his partner currently doing prostate biopsys together as partners and using the Focalyx procedure too. Men out there, please be very careful with these doctors in regards to your prostate health, they are very dangerous and it can cost you your life. Having prostate cancer is a serious matter. Find a urologist doctor that will care for your health and that will take your life seriously.
