I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Dr Cole. I had a very risky emergency situation come up and he not only saved my vision, he made it better than ever. I am not sure why some reviewers are saying he doesn’t have a good bedside manner - I have found him to be very friendly and professional, actually. His whole staff have also been wonderful. I highly recommend him to anyone needing specialized surgery.

I went to Dr. Charles Cole in NYC for a semi annual eye exam. During the exam he never mentioned anything unusual such as an eye problem. When I got home I noticed the word Glaucoma on the bill. I panicked and called Dr. Cole's office, and was told the doctor is busy but will call me tomorrow. The next day he did not call, so I called his office again and was told the same thing. I went to another eye doctor and found out I don't have glaucoma, but that Dr. Cole did not read his instrument properly and misdiagnosed me. Even if he hadn't, the fact that he has a patient calling about a serious eye problem, but doesn't respond is irresponsible. Avoid this doctor.
