I’m so grateful for Dr. Agosto and the care she’s given my mother for over 15 years. I love her so much I have recently become a patient as well. She’s helping me treat Lyme Disease. From the very first visit, she has treat my mother and me with genuine kindness, patience, and understanding. It’s rare to find a doctor who not only listens but truly cares. My mother who soon turns 87 believes she is her friend 🥲 She take the time to explain everything clearly, answer every question, and never makes us feel rushed. What I appreciate most is the compassion she has for my elderly mother. I’m truly grateful. Thank you always 🙏🩷

This review is not about the doctor, who my mother has seen for years and values greatly. It is about the office staff. For months, my mother has been unable to receive her medically necessary injections due to ongoing issues. Despite calling almost weekly over several MONTHS, we are repeatedly told the delay is due to prior authorization, change of pharmacy, or that the prescription was “sent to the pharmacy”—only for the pharmacy to confirm it was never received. Returning us to the same unresolved issue. No one takes responsibility, the office manager is normally unavailable, and at times calls to the office are not answered or returned. This incredibly frustrating cycle has continued for months without resolution. Meanwhile, my mother is in significant pain and struggles with walking and basic daily activities, especially during the winter. I work in a hospital and know that ensuring patients receive necessary medications in a timely manner is a basic standard of care. Based on my experience, obtaining a prior authorization does not take months and sending prescriptions to pharmacy takes 2 mins. The lack of urgency, accountability, and follow-through is unacceptable and concerning. I may consider escalating this complaint further as this situation has gone unresolved for far too long. It is disappointing because my mother values her relationship with the doctor and still has hope, but this ongoing issue is just unacceptable.
