I care for a very high-level care woman who has mental health issues as well as Dementia. This is one of the few places that would accept a patient with all of these issues, which I commend them for. The patient care that she received was always wonderful. The people who work here truly care for the patient and from the Office to the patient care floors they do their best to take care of these people and treat them with respect. We have had very low-level care in other facilities, and I would rather send them to Wyant Woods to be cared for than somewhere fancy that treats their patients like gum on their shoe. The Dementia and Alzheimer's unit should get 5 stars all the way around. The Nursing and STNAs on this level are amazing and I will miss their care and kindness for someone who is very difficult to be kind to. The building is not fancy. It is run down and older. The people who work there do their very best to keep things clean and care for these high-level care patients at all times. They are VERY understaffed - as are all nursing homes - and are in need of cleaning staff to help them. The company that owns them should be giving them more in this aspect. The employees deserve to be cared for as well as the patients. Thank You Wyant Woods for everything you did and will continue to do without recognition. May you be blessed beyond measure.
