I visited Dr. Elaine Shnitkind as a new patient today, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The entire examination lasted approximately five minutes. This was not a follow-up visit—I was a brand-new patient establishing care. The appointment moved so quickly that I didn't have the opportunity to question the thoroughness of the exam at the time. I have calluses on my feet that I wanted evaluated, yet I was never asked to remove my shoes, and my feet were never examined. As a new patient, I expected a more comprehensive evaluation and an opportunity to discuss my concerns. Instead, the visit felt rushed and impersonal. Based on my experience, I will not be returning and left with the impression that the appointment was more about processing patients quickly than providing a thorough examination.

I have been going to Dr. Elaine for years and I am very happy with her office. The staff at the front desk and Monica are always so hepful; they are a pleasure to deal with. Dr Elaine always greets you with a smile and is so pleasant and professional. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dermatologist. She has taken good care of my skin and hair needs.
