Dr. Klein is overall a kind person. I respect that. I will say though, there seems to be a complete lack of communication between the front desk and the doctor. The doctor will tell me one thing when I see him, and the front desk will tell me the exact opposite. For example, the doctor just told me to schedule a video visit for next year’s appointment so I can avoid the hassle of coming into the doctor’s office just to get a refill. I walk up to the front desk on my way out, and follow his exact instructions, to schedule a video visit via the app. And yet, this isn’t possible. Scheduling appointments a year out in advance doesn’t work. The front desk then proceeds to tell me that they don’t do video visits since Covid. These two interactions happened within five minutes of each other. The lady at the front desk then starts lecturing me on how I can get my medication over-the-counter, as if I’m wasting Dr. Klein’s time by getting a prescription. And yet, when I see Dr. Klein, he seems happy to give me one. The general feeling is not pleasant in my communications with the front desk. Whether it’s over the phone, or in person, there’s a negative attitude, a lot of talking-down, and a good amount of gaslighting. Everyone is constantly contradicting each other. I’m not the biggest fan. Would be nice if the front desk staff would be nicer, and if the communication was consistent.
