My husband was at Arbor Glen for rehab for a little over 5 weeks. The employees were all wonderful and very friendly. No agency employees there which makes a difference in continuity of care. The physical therapy team were supportive and worked very well as a team with my husband. The food was a hit or miss but being on the same floor as the kitchen, it was always served warm. The building could use a little TLC but it was clean and tidy. I saw a cleaning crew every single day. I was disappointed with the discharge procedure. I was given a hand written list of medications rather than a clear, typed report. This made reading the report a little difficult and subject to misinterpretation. There was also an assumption that I knew how to use a syringe and vial of insulin. I did not, nor was any instruction offered. My only experience was with an insulin Kwik Pen. We would not hesitate to recommend this facility and would definitely use it again should the need arise.
