Dr. Rajesh Bhatnagar, MD

Dr. Bhatnagar seems to be a kind caring ger, HOWEVER, his office is run very poorly. After your appointment it seems to be impossible to speak with him on the phone for any question or concerns. On a couple of occasions after office visits phone calls/ and messages I've left for him are not returned. The latest issue is a prescription was sent to pharmacy for me. I have no ideal what the medication is for since during my visit on Jan. 16 he and I discussed that a prescribed medication for my headaches was not required and I could continue with Tylenol when necessary. Two days later I received a txt from CVS that a prescription was ready for pickup. I am unable to get him on the phone to discuss. I have never been seen by him at the scheduled time. There is a sign taped to the plexiglass in the waiting area that he is running an hour behind scheduled. Some of the women at the front desk are unfriendly and dismissive, and as mentioned by others someone at the call center hung up on me when I said it was urgent to speak with him regarding test results from a critical procedure. Had to wait a month for an office visit that was scheduled six weeks prior to the procedure to find out results. Although MyChart indicated results were in two days after the procedure!

Warning. Do not go to this doctor. I believe this is the first time I've posted a review. I confirm the comments that were made previously that the office staff and answering service are rude and unhelpful. I waited almost two hours for my first doctor's visit. The doctor ordered unnecessary tests and when I called for results I was told that they wouldn't be made available to me until my next office visit. This is a violation of federal and state HIPPA law. I had no way to access the test results because Dr Bhatnagar is in private practice and he doesn't have a patient portal. The medication I required was sent in the wrong dosage and to the wrong pharmacy. I fortunately have found a different neurologist and it's a relief to have someone who is competent with helpful office staff.

They don’t even deserve 1 star. The doctor might seem like he might knows a thing or two about neurology, but with a staff like his you’ll never know his potential. Run don’t walk and find yourself a more personal experience with someone else. I got my mother out of there. Best thing for us. Good luck.

I would not recommend for anyone to bring their loved ones to this Doctor. Be aware of the warning signs such as not receiving the referral even though it was fax many times, to calls and messages not returned. Patient care is not there at all and non existent. This entire experience tells me they just don't care. Why stress yourself out? Don't waste your time and go elsewhere to a Doctor that really cares for your well being. You have been warned.

I sincerely hope no one ever experiences a medical emergency that requires a prescription from this facility. I clearly explained the urgency of my situation, only to be told I would need to wait two months to see the doctor and get the prescription—one that the doctor has previously prescribed without issue. When I asked if there were any alternative options, the staff offered no support and responded with an attitude that essentially conveyed, “That’s your problem.” The lack of empathy, urgency, and basic professionalism at this location is both alarming and unacceptable.
