Told me that he does not take my insurance (out of network) and thus I must pay $300 upfront for the consultation. I paid but later received an EOB from insurance and saw that he received $255 from insurance. So I called the office to get an explanation and some reimbursement and was refused on both accounts. The insurance, you see, paid them "so little" and it was not my business how much they got paid on top of what I already paid... I guess it was thus ok for them to lie to me and take my money... I never came back and had my procedures done by Dr. Lev Khitin, who is in-network and never played these kind of games with me.
