I had an appointment scheduled for a colonoscopy at 1:00 PM. After arriving on time, I was informed that I would need to wait at least two additional hours, making the total wait time approximately five hours. This reflects very poor scheduling and lack of consideration for patients’ time. It is clear that too many patients are being booked without proper planning or realistic time management. Long wait times like this are unacceptable, especially for medical procedures that already require preparation and fasting. The office needs to improve how appointments are scheduled and communicate realistic wait times in advance. Patients should not be expected to spend an entire afternoon waiting due to inefficient planning.
