Very disappointing experience. The waiting room had a bad smell, and the chairs and overall office looked dirty and poorly maintained. The front desk staff were rude and not helpful. I asked multiple times about the wait and was told “you’re next,” but we still waited a very long time, which was especially difficult with kids. The exam rooms were extremely small, unclean, and cluttered. We were placed in a room that didn’t even fit four people comfortably, and even after being moved, the cleanliness and organization were still unacceptable. The doctor visit itself was not helpful at all. There was no proper examination, and my concerns were not addressed. When I asked questions, I received vague answers like “no” or “I don’t know.” I was told hormones might be the cause, but no clear explanation or guidance was provided on how to check or treat the issue. Overall, the office felt unprofessional, unhygienic, and lacking in proper patient care. I would not recommend this place.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Dr. Katan. I originally came in with a very small spider angioma. Other than some underlying rosacea that had been dormant for years, I was happy with my skin. Before agreeing to treatment, I repeatedly asked Dr. Katan whether burning off the spider angioma could leave a scar, change the appearance of my skin, or cause any lasting redness. He reassured me multiple times that it would not and that it would heal quickly. At first, I thought the spot was simply a minor irritation because the spider angioma was so small. Dr. Katan diagnosed it as a spider angioma and recommended burning it off. Knowing my history of rosacea, he proceeded with the treatment and assured me there would be no scarring or complications. Now, about a month later, the entire area remains red and has not improved the way I was told it would. When I returned for a follow-up visit, Dr. Katan told me the redness was rosacea. This is frustrating because either the procedure triggered a flare-up or the treatment resulted in an outcome that I was never adequately warned about. Either way, my skin looks worse now than it did before the procedure. I paid approximately $500 for this treatment, and when I returned with concerns, I was not offered a refund or any meaningful resolution. I sought treatment for a tiny cosmetic issue and am now left with a noticeable red circular area on my face. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Dr. Katan.
