Dr. Demetrios Markouizos

Dr.Markouizos is absolutely phenomenal. He continues to go above and beyond. My husband has been a patient for years and was seen as a kid himself. All 4 of our kids have been seen by Dr.Markouizos and his staff. They’re understanding, helpful and caring. I know that I can trust Dr.Markouizos 100%

There’s not enough I can say about Dr Markouizos, he is one of a kind in the manner he cares for his patients. I have never encountered someone who is as caring, professional and nurturing in the medical field. He truly loves his patients and has cared for my daughters as if we were family. When my daughter was only 5 weeks old she had severe RSV and needed to be hospitalized, it was thanks to Dr Markouizos quick judgment and attention that we seeked helped immediately, it made all the difference in how a very serious situation turned out. I will forever be thankful to him and his staff.

Dr. Markouizos and his team are nothing short of amazing. From the moment we stepped into the office, we felt welcomed and cared for. Dr. Markouizos has been my family's pediatrician for the past 11 years for my 3 children. He is the most carring, patient, dedicated and devoted doctor to his patients. Dr. Markouizos will hold a special place in my heart forever. Because of his experience and knowledge my first son was diagnosed with Cancer early on and 5 years later he is healthy and thriving. What else can a mother wish for ??? I really can say he did save my son's life and we are forever grateful to him. Every single time when I gave birth , even though he was not obligated to come see me in the hospital , he came and visited, and checked on the babies to make sure everything is OK. Who does that? Who cares so much about his patients and their well being to go out of their way to come visit you at the hospital? He came and visited my son in the hospital with his amazing wife with gifts and toys to bring a smile to his face. Which Dr. comes at night to your house when kids are sick to check on them? Which Dr. cares so much about his "little friends" to buy them gifts that he learned they like , just because? Which Dr. is there to support you into the darkest hours of your life and to assure you that you are not alone ? That is our forever special Dr. MARKOUIZOS!!❤️❤️❤️❤️ He is not only the most amazing person but the best Doctor I have ever encountered. My kids love him. Going to see Dr. Markouizos office in Astoria is always something they look foward to. His staff and everybody in that office are so professional and they actually care.
