I had ACL “repair” surgery with Dr. Difelice in 2024. Unfortunately, my outcome was very disappointing. Within a year, my ACL became stretched and unstable again, and several other surgeons and physical therapists told me this should not have happened. I eventually had to undergo another surgery this year, full ACL reconstruction, with a different surgeon, which meant going through all the pain, recovery, and rehabilitation a second time. I’m sharing my experience so that others can make fully informed decisions. I wish I had known more about the surgeon’s outcomes and techniques before my procedure. I recommend seeking multiple opinions and asking detailed questions about success rates and follow-up care.
